“The KCB Foundation Scholarship programme is an improvement from our past sponsorship in 2011 where we offered full scholarships to 44 students in the country, said Tikani.
The initiative shall be implemented through the KCB Group regional offices and branches. It hopes to benefit needy students who have excelled in the KCPE and shall support secondary education in public and government schools only.

In the past the KCB Foundation scholarships have been offered through the PalmHouse Foundation which benefitted 24 students in 2011. Another 20 boys and girls also received full sponsorships at the schools through a partnership with the Starehe Boys and Girls’ Centers respectively.
The KCB Foundation that was established in 2007 currently supports projects in Education, Environment, Enterprise Development, Health and Humanitarian aid in the five countries the bank operates.
